It's widely known that Yoga can enhance your physical and emotional well being, but when Yoga is practiced with a therapeutic intention in the form of Yoga Therapy, it can help prevent and aid recovery from physical and mental ailments. 
Yoga has long been practiced with therapeutic intentions as way of transforming both the body and the mind. 
Integrative Yoga Therapy is a very rich approach to doing yoga and is most useful for helping with imbalance physically, emotionaly, psychologically and spiritually.
All aspects of a person are taken into account awareness being the key to healing

YOGA BACKGROUND

My teacher training began in 1985 with the Yoga for Health foundation, Ickwell Bury.
I found Astanga Vinyasa and trained and taught this during the 90's in connection with a friend who was a local GP.
In 2005 I attended a residential week with Donna Farrhi in New Zealand where I was living at that time.
In 2006 I trained in Brazil and California with the Integrative Yoga Therapy school and also completed their home study course in 2010.

In 2007 I celebrated the release of a Yoga nidra CD made in connection with musician Bob Bickerton NZ
